How much does it cost?
The cost of service varies according to each family or individual’s needs. Keep in mind that it almost always comes to less than eating out. And, it saves time and calories!
What does the cost of the service include?
The cost includes my time for shopping, cooking, labeling and packaging, cleaning, as well as the cost of the groceries.
Can we make contact by phone or e-mail rather than in person?
Yes! The number one benefit of having a personal chef is convenience. I can certainly get started with the interview process by phone or e-mail.
How do we get started?
There is a detailed description on the Personal Chef Services page, but the first step is a free, personal consultation to figure out goals, likes, dislikes, special diet needs, and number of people I will be cooking for.
Is the food fresh or frozen?
EatStreet Personal Chef Service always prepares food fresh each day and stores it in the refrigerator unless otherwise requested.
What kind of containers will my food be stored in?
I normally use reheatable/reuseable plastic containers, which will be labeled and dated.
How often do you prepare meals?
EatStreet will prepare meals as often as the client requests, but the usual is one to two times per week.
Do you have a minimum that I have to order?
Yes. There is a minimum of 3 meals per week per family, and 5 meals per week for an individual.
How long will the food last?
The food will last five days in a refrigerator that is kept at 36 degrees. Fish will last four days.
